Child Care Worker/SACC



Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED

 

Reports To: The School Age Child Care Site Director And School Age Child Care District

                    Director

 

Job Duties/  Responsibilities:

 

    1.  Supervises children

    2.  Serves snacks and cleanup.

    3.  Plans various activities, i.e., P.E., Music, Arts/Crafts, etc.

    4.  Assists in homework and coordinate Homework with classroom teachers.

    5.  Monitors “pick-up” of children.

    6.  Attends professional development activities and other school functions as requested.

    7.  Keeps abreast of recommended strategies on child management.

    8.  Completes daily attendance for assigned group of children.

    9.  Sets up physical facility necessary to meet licensure requirement, including setting up           and taking down the center-tables, chairs, individual/center equipment.

   10.  Performs related duties as assigned by the site director.

   11.  Monitors all Children

   12.  Interacts positively with students in the school district’s day care

 

Terms of Service: Days/Hours set by the Board of Education Policy.
